After bariatric surgery, my life changed in many ways. Generally speaking, I experienced an overall improvement in my health, energy levels, and quality of life.

This resulted in less pain and aches due to carrying around excess weight for so long. My mobility improved greatly; activities such as walking up stairs were much less of a struggle after I lost over 100 lbs from bariatric surgery. Additionally, I no longer experience deep-seated fatigue that came along with simply living with obesity—something many don’t realize until their symptoms improve drastically post-surgery.

My mental health saw just as significant improvements since getting bariatric surgery. It wasn’t only about the physical aspects of my life improving; there was a drastic shift in how I felt about myself personally too.
