Tendomac Forte Tablet 15s belongs to a class of medications called pain killer/non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID). Tendomac Forte Tablet 15s is primarily used to treat the pain of osteoarthritis (OA) in specific large and small joints, joint pains due to arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, joint pain, swelling due to arthritis. Osteoarthritis is a chronic (lifelong) joint condition in which a Glucosamine sulfate (a chemical found in the human body, especially in joints) gets reduced. The body uses this fluid to produce other chemicals required to make ligaments, cartilage, tendons, and the thick fluid surrounding joints. When this chemical gets reduced, the cartilage breaks down. It becomes thin, which causes friction between the bones leading to wear and tear (damage) of the joint tissues leading to pain, stiffness, inflammation, and reduced locomotion.
Tendomac Forte Tablet 15s contains three medicines, namely Ascorbic acid (Vit C), collagen, and glucosamine. Glucosamine sulfate is a natural protein found in the body used by the body to produce various chemicals responsible for building ligaments, cartilage, tendons, and the thick fluid surrounding joints. Taking Tendomac Forte Tablet 15s may either enhance the cartilage and fluid surrounding joints or prevent both components breakdown. Both in combination helps in the formation of cartilage (the soft tissue that cushions the joints) and make the joints lubricated for better movement and flexibility. Vitamin C helps in the redevelopment of cartilage and thus gives relief in osteoarthritis. Collagen is a nutritional supplement that has a perfect role to play. Collagen is the main component of bone cartilage, and loss may cause cartilage damage and osteoarthritis. Collagen supplementation has a vital role in treating and preventing osteoarthritis.
