Febrex tablet treats fever, headache, body pains, toothache, and the common cold. It belongs to the class of non-opioid analgesic (pain killer) and antipyretic (fever reducers). It works by blocking certain pain-generating messengers that help in relieving pain. It also works by inhibiting the heat-regulating centre in a brain region that effectively reduces the fever.

Take this tablet as directed by your doctor. Use it regularly to get maximum benefits from the treatment. Do not take more than the prescribed number of doses.

The common side effects of using this tablet are nausea, vomiting, constipation, flushing, insomnia, and skin rashes. If these side effects persist, consult your doctor immediately. Let your doctor know if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant or breastfeeding.

Answer- Stomach pain may be due to various reasons most commonly due to acidity,
stomach ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding. So, it is advisable not to use Febrex 500 mg
Tablet 15 to relieve stomach pain, instead consult a doctor.

Answer- You should only take four doses of Febrex 500mg Tablet in 24 hours. There
should be a gap of at least 4 hours between two doses. Do not take Febrex 500mg
Tablet for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor first.

Answer- If you vomit in less than 30 minutes after having a dose of Febrex 500mg
Tablet tablets or syrup, take the same dose again. If you vomit after 30 minutes of a
dose, you do not need to take another one until the next standard dose.

Answer- You can take this medicine for controlling fever, it may not have any action in
reducing cold as cold is usually happen due to a viral infection and affects the nose and
throat.
