Answer- Gluconorm PGL 1mg is contradictory to be used in patients with high blood
pressure. Doctor’s consultation is required before taking this drug in a patient with high
blood pressure.

Answer- Not recommended to be taken with contraceptives. Gluconorm PGL 1mg
decreases the activity of oral contraceptives like Ethinyl estradiol by almost 30% and
leads to failure of contraception.

Answer- The prolong use of Gluconorm-PG-L 1mg Tablet can cause vitamin B12
deficiency as it contains metformin in it. It interferes with absorption of vitamin B12 in
the stomach.
