Levemex tablet belongs to the class of antiepileptic agent that is used in the treatment of seizures. It works by inhibiting certain channels and may bind to the surface of the nerve cells that suppresses the abnormal activity in the brain, thereby preventing the spread of electrical signals which causes seizures.
Take this tablet as directed by your doctor. Do not take more than the prescribed number of doses. Use it regularly to get maximum benefits from the treatment.
The common side effects of using this tablet are sleepiness, dizziness, headache, depression, loss of appetite, diarrhoea, muscle pain, fatigue, weight gain, hair loss, stuffy nose, upper respiratory tract infections, and skin rashes. If these side effects persist, consult your doctor immediately.
