losartan potassium is an angiotensin receptor blocker (arb) that works by blocking the effects of a hormone called angiotensin ii, which effectively reduces blood pressure, improves blood flow, and helps the heart pump efficiently.

may occur when you suddenly get up from a lying or sitting position. To lower the
chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
Answer- It can cause high levels of potassium in the blood leading to hyperkalaemia.
Hence it is not recommended to use potassium supplements along with it. However,
consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines before starting it.
