Mifiact is an antiprogesterone class of medication. It is used to terminate the early stage of pregnancy. This medication shows its effectiveness within 24- 48 hours of administration. Do not take excess dose than recommended by your physician.

Mifiact works by halting the progesterone actions at the receptor area. Progesterone is a female hormone that is required for the pregnancy to maintain. Without this hormone, the lining of the uterus (womb) ruptures down as it does during a menstrual period and halts the progress of the pregnancy.

Do not use this medication without a doctor's advice. This medication's most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, uterine cramps, diarrhoea, infection following abortion, and uterine bleeding. Immediately notify your doctor if you experience these side effects.

After 48 hours of taking Mifiact 10mg Tablet, your doctor shall examine you and may prescribe you another medicine (Misoprostol) for complete termination of pregnancy. After 14 days of taking it, your gynaecologist may run some blood tests or perform ultra sonography to confirm whether the pregnancy has been terminated or not.

Answer: - No, studies have shown that this medicine does not impair the fertility of the women. Your future chances of getting pregnant are as equal as of those who have not taken this medicine.
