This medication may cause side effects such as hypertension, xerostomia, backache, dizziness, fatigue, bleeding from the nose, bronchitis, discomfort, nasal congestion, nasopharyngitis, rhinitis, sneezing, atrial fibrillation, myocardial infarction, body fluid retention, hyponatremia, hyposmolality, water intoxication syndrome and seizure. Inform your doctor if these side effects worsen your condition or persist for a longer duration.
Do not stop the medication without informing your doctor even if you feel better, as it may cause a flare-up of your symptoms. Please do not take more than the recommended doses as it may cause toxicity and adverse reactions. Do not drink alcohol while using this medication.
Your fluid intake must be limited from 1 hour before until 8 hours after taking the tablets if you use this medication to treat bedwetting.
Avoid drinking water while swimming and stop taking the medication if you have vomiting or diarrhoea until your fluid balance is back to normal.
