Description

Propysalic NF Ointment 20 gm has a combination of medicines that are used to treat eczema and psoriasis. It helps to provide relief from redness, itching, and swelling. It
removes dead skin cells and helps in softening the skin. Clobetasol is a steroid that works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that are responsible for making the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine (that softens, separates, and causes desquamation (peeling) of the cornified epithelium or horny layer of skin) which breaks down the clumps of keratin, removes dead skin cells, and helps in softening of the skin. It also helps in the absorption of Clobetasol into the skin.

Directions for use

•  It should be taken as directed by your doctor and in the prescribed quantity.
•  Keep it away from the reach of children
•  Do not use expired medicine.
•  This medicine is for external use only.

•  Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment.

Safety Information

•  Tell the doctor about the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid possible interaction.
•  Apply to the affected areas as a thin film two or three times daily, or as advised by your doctor.
•  Don't cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.
•  After you have applied Propysalic NF Ointment, remember to wash your hands (unless your hands are the treated area).
•  Use a mild moisturizer regularly to overcome the skin dryness during the course of treatment.
•  Consult your doctor if your skin condition has not improved after 2 weeks of treatment.
•  Do not use it on the face
