It helps treat burning sensation, urgency to urinate, and other discomforts arising from the urinary tract caused by infection, trauma, surgery, etc. It should be used only for symptomatic relief of pain and not as a substitute for other treatments. Pyridium 200 Tablet is best taken with food after eating a snack. This will reduce stomach upset that can be caused by the medicine.
