XYLA tablet is a combination medication used to treat nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. it also provides nutrition to the body. this tablet combines two medicines: doxylamine and vitamin b6 (pyridoxine), which treats nausea and vomiting associated with pregnancy. doxylamine is an antihistamine that works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (histamine), thereby controlling nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. pyridoxine (vitamin b6) is a form of vitamin b that possesses anti-nausea properties.

this tablet is a prescription drug. it can be taken with or without food but must be taken at certain times to be more effective. do not take more than the recommended dose as it can have harmful effects on your body. if you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember. stopping the medication suddenly can make the medication less effective.

the most common side effects of this drug are dizziness, stomach pain, constipation, and others. drink plenty of fluids to avoid side effects. if any of the side effects become serious, talk to your doctor right away. if you experience an allergic reaction (rash, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), you should immediately consult a doctor.
